Terms of Service

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the responsibilities of students, parents and The Quranic Academy when using our website and enrolling in online classes.

Last updated: October 5, 2026
Please read these terms before enrolling. By using this website, requesting a trial or purchasing classes, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. A parent or legal guardian accepts them on behalf of a student who is under the age of legal majority.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and The Quranic Academy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our paid services. Our Privacy Policy also applies to information collected through the website and our services.

2. Our Services

The Quranic Academy provides live online lessons that may include Quran reading, Nazra, Tajweed, Hifz, translation, Tafseer, Islamic studies and related learning support. Course content, class frequency and lesson length depend on the selected plan and the student’s needs.

We may improve or change course materials, teaching methods and service features from time to time while continuing to provide the core service purchased.

3. Eligibility and Students Under 18

Students of different ages may use our learning services. A parent or legal guardian must enrol and supervise a minor student as appropriate, provide accurate contact information, and remain responsible for payments, scheduling and communications with the Academy.

4. Enrolment and Trial Classes

  • You agree to provide accurate and current information about the student, time zone, availability and learning level.
  • A trial class helps us understand the student’s needs and explain the recommended plan. A trial does not guarantee a particular teacher or permanent time slot.
  • Enrolment is confirmed when the Academy accepts the registration, agrees the schedule and receives any required payment.
  • Please tell us promptly if contact, scheduling or student information changes.

5. Fees, Payments and Discounts

Fees are based on the plan, lesson duration and schedule agreed at enrolment. Payments must be made using an accepted method and by the agreed due date. We may change prices for future billing periods by giving reasonable notice; a change will not alter an amount already paid for an active period.

20%Sibling Discount

When more than one student from the same family enrols, a 20% sibling discount is available, subject to verification and the agreed plan.

20%Referral Reward

When your referral joins the Academy as a new paying student, you receive 20% off your fee for the month in which that referral joins.

Discounts apply after eligibility is confirmed and cannot be combined unless the Academy agrees otherwise in writing. A referral reward is applied once for each eligible new student.

6. Scheduling, Attendance and Missed Classes

  • Class times are agreed using the student’s stated time zone. Families are responsible for joining at the scheduled time with a suitable device and internet connection.
  • If you need to miss or reschedule a class, notify us as early as possible. Rescheduling and make-up classes are subject to teacher availability and the attendance policy communicated at enrolment.
  • Repeated absence, late attendance or missed classes without notice may affect the availability of make-up lessons.
  • If the Academy or teacher cancels a class, we will reasonably arrange a replacement teacher, make-up class or account adjustment.

7. Teachers and Class Changes

We aim to provide a suitable and consistent teacher. Teacher assignments may change because of availability, time-zone needs, performance, leave or operational requirements. We may provide a substitute or offer an alternative schedule where necessary.

8. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for a reliable internet connection, a working microphone and speakers, a compatible device, and access to the agreed video or communication platform. We are not responsible for class disruption caused by the student’s device, connection or third-party service outage, but we will try to assist with reasonable alternatives.

9. Student Conduct, Safety and Communication

Students, parents, teachers and staff must communicate respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, threats, inappropriate conduct, impersonation, unauthorised access or misuse of class links is prohibited.

Parents or guardians should support a safe learning environment for children. Class recordings, screenshots or photographs may only be made or shared with appropriate consent and in accordance with applicable law.

10. Learning Materials and Intellectual Property

Website content, lesson resources, designs, recordings and Academy materials are owned by or licensed to The Quranic Academy unless stated otherwise. Students may use materials supplied to them for personal, non-commercial learning. They may not copy, sell, publish, distribute or create commercial products from those materials without written permission.

11. Cancellations, Refunds and Pausing Classes

Requests to cancel, pause or change a plan should be sent promptly through our official contact channels. Eligibility for a refund, credit or make-up class depends on the circumstances, the period already used, the payment method and the cancellation terms communicated before payment. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or end services for non-payment, serious or repeated misconduct, safety concerns, misuse of Academy materials, or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the service by contacting us and settling any outstanding agreed charges.

13. Learning Progress

Our teachers provide instruction and reasonable learning support, but progress depends on attendance, practice, participation, prior ability and other individual factors. We do not guarantee a particular examination result, memorisation target or completion date.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Classes and payments may use third-party video, messaging, hosting or payment services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control.

15. Disclaimers and Responsibility

We aim to keep the website and classes available, accurate and safe. However, services may occasionally be interrupted or contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or services. Our total responsibility will not exceed the fees paid for the affected service period, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when our services, pricing structure or legal responsibilities change. The revised terms will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes affecting active students will be communicated through a reasonable channel.

17. Applicable Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Academy and the services provided, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your location. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Unresolved disputes may be brought before a court or authority with lawful jurisdiction.
